How does it work? 

Each Self Heating Meal kit is equipped with all items necessary to warm and heat a single meal! Both the Coconut Blueberry Multi-Grain and apple chips are packaged in a mylar foil bag to deflect any pests, moisture, or light.  The only item you need is 1-3/4 cups of water.

Heating Instructions: 

***Note: These instructions are also located on each kit.

Step 1: Open the large clear heater bag, remove the heating pad, and level out the bottom of the bag. 

Step 2: Remove the heating pad from the protective blue pouch and lay it flat at the bottom of the heater bag. 

Step 3: Open the food pouch and discard the oxygen absorber. Add the recommended amount of water to the food pouch using the water measuring bag for accuracy. Stir well. Reseal the food pouch.

Step 4: Insert the sealed food pouch into the large clear heater bag.  Add 1/2 cup of water to the bottom of the heater bag using the water measuring bag for accuracy. This will activate the heating pad. 

Step 5: Zip the heater bag closed and stand it upright while heating. Use caution as steam will be very HOT.  The water will stop boiling in about 15 minutes.  Keep the food sealed for an additional 15 minutes. 

Step 6: Carefully remove the meal from the heater bag. Stir and enjoy! Dispose of the heating pad as household waste after use.
