The Aspinwall Family
Our dream of owning a small farm began years ago, and by God's grace, it became a reality in 2022. We were blessed to purchase the meadows from a kindhearted couple who, though reluctant to sell, chose to be closer to their grandchildren and prioritize their health. Their love for this land touched us deeply, and we've worked to honor it ever since. One special feature of the property is the charming greenhouse, lovingly built by her late father, which we've named the Henry Melton Greenhouse in his memory.
Another treasure is our indoor growing building, originally crafted to house the Southern Soy Candle Company. Every space here carries a story, and we're excited to write the next chapter with you as part of our journey.
It Started with A Rose

Faith and Resilience
I’ve always been inspired by the Proverbs woman and strive, however imperfectly, to live by her example. For years, I believed our “field to market” would be vegetables, but God had a different plan. Living with Cervical Spina Bifida Occulta, a condition that affects my daily life, has taught me to lean on faith and adapt. Some days bring seizures, long periods of rest, or challenges that seem insurmountable. That’s why we built 3-foot-high raised beds, to ensure I could still nurture this dream, even on hard days.
Many people thought we were chasing an impossible dream, but we believed in God’s vision for our community. With the help of our children, who earn a fair wage for their efforts as part of their homeschooling, we’ve embraced this journey together. They’re learning not just about farming, but about community, perseverance, and the joy of creating something meaningful.
With the Lytles’ blessing, we’re honored to preserve and share the stories of this land. We take retaining and continuing its beauty through regenerative agriculture seriously for our future generations. Every corner of the meadows holds history, beauty, and a reminder that God’s plans are always unfolding in His perfect timing.
If at first you don't succeed, hydroponics is for you
Since late October 2022, we’ve been exploring new ways to grow and nurture blooms sustainability, embracing indoor agriculture through Deep Water Hydroponics. This method allows us to experiment with providing year-round flowers for our local market, a possibility only achievable within the stability of a controlled environment.
We’ve also incorporated shallow aeroponics for many of our seed starts, giving our flowers a strong and healthy head start. By focusing on robust root systems, we’re ensuring that each bloom thrives and reaches its fullest potential. These innovations are helping us honor our commitment to sustainability and sharing God’s beauty with our community in every season.
Each new technique, each lesson learned, brings us closer to creating a space where growth isn’t just about flowers—it’s about faith, resilience, and the joy of cultivating something meaningful for others.
