Exhaust Fans for Hoop Houses

Are you looking to control rising temps in your greenhouse or hoop house? Install a 12" , 24" , or a 36" high-efficiency, quiet operating exhaust shutter fan. These exhaust fans are pre-wired with a 9ft grounded cord—115v. Guards feature industrial gray polyester powder coating and OSHA spacing on guards.

The heavy-duty aluminum shutters on the fans have reinforced corners featuring weather stripping on each louver. We recommend adding intake shutters on the opposite side of the hoop house for fresh air exchange.

Shutter exhaust fans are constructed to industrial application standards with corrosion-resistant extruded aluminum frames, which will not rust on any mounting surface, even when exposed to the harshest elements.

The 1.5-inch W flanges on the shutters make the unit easy to install. Louvers are constructed with light aircraft-grade aluminum alloy for minimal air resistance. The prop is constructed with 5052 aluminum alloy engineered to precise geometry for quietness and air-moving efficiency.

The University of Massachusetts recommends that your total fan capacity should be 2 times the floor area of your greenhouse. Fan capacity is measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air moved. So in a 30' x 100' greenhouse, the fan capacity should be 30' x 100' x 2 = 6000 CFM.
