Planting and Growing Instructions

1. Preparing the Cuttings: Place cuttings into water or moist soil immediately after arrival. They can be rooted indoors or planted directly outdoors when conditions allow.

2. Planting Time: Best planted in early spring once the soil is workable.

3. Location: Full sun to partial shade will support optimal growth and fruiting.

4. Soil Preferences: Prefers moist, well draining soil but is tolerant of poorer soils and a wide range of conditions. A pH between 6.0 and 7.0 is ideal.

5. Spacing: Plant 2 to 4 feet apart in rows spaced 10 to 14 feet apart.

6. Watering: Keep soil consistently moist while cuttings establish roots. Maintain regular watering during dry spells after establishment.

7. Pruning: Prune in late winter or early spring to remove dead wood and encourage vigorous new first year shoots, which produce the best berries.
