Grow your own loofah sponge! These gourds produce abundant yields, perfect for natural soap crafts. When fully mature, the interior dries to reveal a sponge-like texture just beneath the husk. Curing takes about 3–6 months in a dry, well-ventilated area. In their early stages—while still green and under 4.5 inches long—they're also edible.
