Honeoye Strawberry is a classic early–midseason strawberry variety developed at the Cornell Research Station in Geneva, New York. Cultivation Tips

• Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily) for best fruit size and sweetness.
• Planting depth: Set plants so the crown sits just above the soil surface—do not bury or expose it.
• Spacing: Approximately 12 inches apart (can be spaced wider if desired).
• Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture throughout the growing season. Mulching helps conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
• Harvesting: Pick berries when fully red and firm. Harvest every few days during peak season.
• Landscape use: Excellent for garden beds, borders, containers, and edible landscapes. Honeoye’s compact habit also works well as ground cover.
