How our Mission Continues to Expand, Soul Intact

When Blessings Grow Meadows began, the mission was simple:

God first.

Grow good things.

Care for the land.

Serve people honestly.

That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is the amount of responsibility that the mission now carries.

We started with flowers. With soil, seasons, and the belief that beauty grown locally still matters. From the earliest stages, we chose to grow and care for the land without the use of synthetic chemicals. No quick fixes. No shortcuts that poison the soil while pretending to help the plant. We use natural fertilizers, build soil health over time, and rely on natural pest control methods that work with the ecosystem instead of against it.

That choice costs more effort. It takes more patience. But it protects the land, the pollinators, the animals, and the people who live here.

We didn’t plan on all of these beautiful birds and kitties.

But healthy land requires balance. And balance requires life. The animals came as caretakers. As restoration, not expansion. Some were born here. Some were brought here. All of them belong here.

They play a role in the ecosystem. Enriching soil, managing growth, restoring natural rhythms. They are part of how we steward the land without chemicals and without force. They remind us daily that dominion means responsibility.

Then there are the trees.

A natural extension of our chemical-free philosophy. Trees improve soil structure, support biodiversity, protect water, and create resilience long after we’re gone. Every tree planted is a long-term investment in land that can heal itself without constant intervention. Every order plants a tree and we love monitoring our progress!

At the same time, my own health journey reshaped how we approach everything.

For several years, I've had a difficult season with health. This forced me to slow down and pay attention. To what I consume, what I touch, and what I allow into my body. When your health is fragile, you stop tolerating unnecessary chemicals. You stop trusting convenience. You return to what’s clean, simple, and life-giving.

That season didn’t interrupt our mission. It deepened it.

It reinforced why chemical-free matters. Why natural inputs matter. Why what we put into the soil eventually shows up in our bodies, our food, our air, and our water.

You’ll notice we added the ability to compare products on our website. It was about honesty. People deserve to compare ingredients, sourcing, and practices side by side. Transparency builds trust, especially for those seeking chemical-free, natural options and needing to make informed choices.

The gift registry came from the same place.

Brides and mamas-to-be wanted safer, cleaner gifts. Items they could trust in their homes and around their children. But just as importantly, nonprofits needed an alternative. A way to receive support without defaulting to big-box retailers whose products and supply chains don’t align with their values.

Our registry offers a different path.

It allows individuals and organizations to receive useful, thoughtfully sourced items. All natural choices produced with care for people and the land right here in the United States. It keeps generosity connected to stewardship instead of convenience. However, farm-to-door accessibility to these types of products through dependable craftsmanship was a challenge.

We intentionally support national makers and creators by giving them an additional platform. Many responsible brands are doing excellent work but lack the reach of massive retailers. We help bridge that gap. Connecting values-driven producers with people actively seeking cleaner, more ethical options.

Blessings Grow Meadows is still a small family farm. Still rooted in faith and stewardship. But it has become a place where land, animals, trees, products, and people are intentionally connected again, without chemicals, without shortcuts, and without losing sight of who we’re accountable to.

I’m still healing. Still choosing natural, farm-rooted ways to support our family. Still trusting God through a season that has required patience, humility, and faith. Prayers are deeply appreciated.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for trusting the slow work.

And thank you for believing that caring for the land in the right way can still bring healing to people too.

Same mission.

Wider reach.

Deeper roots.

We love and appreciate you!
