We had a dream of purchasing a small farm years ago. This long term plan God made possible in 2022. We purchased the meadows from a sweet couple that didn't really want to sell. However, due to health reasons as well as wanting to be closer to their grandchildren, they decided it was time.
At the final walk through, we shared smiles and shed tears. We learned some of the history of the meadows as well as the stories of the many plants and trees. It was obvious a love of land and family seeped from each acre.
During the first summer months here, we shared each bloom as it made its spectacular appearance with the former owner, Mrs. Lytle. The most precious interactions came from an elegant red rose bush her late father had planted for her —until they could finally bring it home to their new property this past fall. Through these many communications, a love for sharing God’s beauty in the meadows was born. With their permission, we will be sharing these photos as we learn more about the history and stories of the meadows to share with you.

Since late October 2022, we have been experimenting with indoor agriculture Deep Water Hydroponics. Our hope is to provide year-round flowers for our local market that only a controlled environment can provide. We also use shallow aeroponics for many of our seed starts, providing the flowers with a favorable headstart, full of roots.
Throughout our experiment, we had several challenges, lost a few cuttings and had to start over several times. Staying the course, we have learned so many lessons and are thankful that we are finally harvesting many zinnias and have dahlias coming soon! We have doubled in our plant production and have dreams of expanding as we are able If it is His will.
